Pricing
How we price it
Fire pits are priced by the linear foot of structure, with the cap added. Outdoor fireplaces are a custom quote — size and finish change the price. Finish stone or tile is installed by the square foot; the material is your pick and priced separately or carried as an allowance. Gas line work is by a licensed plumber or gas contractor.
Every job is measured on site and gets a written scope with the price. The estimate is free.

Questions
Common questions
Gas or wood?
Both have their place. Gas starts with a switch and is cleaner; wood gives you the real fire. Some cities and HOAs limit wood burning, so check before you decide. We'll talk it through at the walkthrough.
Who runs the gas line?
Gas line work is done by a licensed plumber or gas contractor. We build the fireplace or fire pit around it and coordinate where the line comes in.
Fireplace or fire pit?
A fireplace is a wall of fire — it anchors one side of the patio and blocks wind. A fire pit sits low in the middle and people gather all the way around it. Plenty of yards have room for one or the other; we'll look at the space with you.
Can it match my BBQ island or walls?
Yes. We build fireplaces and fire pits from the same block and finish them with the same stone, tile and caps we use on walls and islands, so it all ties in.
Do you do indoor fireplaces?
For tile on an indoor fireplace face or hearth, see our Interior Tile page. This page is about outdoor fireplaces and fire pits.
