Pricing
How we price it
Retaining walls are priced by the linear foot, by height, in half-foot steps up to 6 feet. Waterproofing, the French drain, the finish and the cap are added line by line, so you see each one. Stone or tile for the face is your pick and priced separately. Walls over 6 feet need an engineered design and get a custom quote.

Common questions
Why waterproofing and a drain behind a retaining wall?
Water in the soil behind a wall pushes on it and soaks into the block. Waterproofing keeps that moisture from bleeding through and staining or lifting the finish on the front. The French drain gives the water a way out, so it doesn't build up pressure behind the wall.
What about walls taller than 6 feet?
Walls over 6 feet need an engineered design. We quote those as custom jobs once there's an engineered plan to build from.
What finishes can go on the wall?
Stucco, smooth stucco, stacked stone veneer or tile, topped with a pre-cast or pour-in-place cap. The finish can match your house, your pool or your BBQ island.
Can you refinish an old wall?
Yes. We can take off the old stucco, tile, brick or stone face and put a new finish on the block. At the site walk we'll look at the wall itself and tell you what it needs.
Do you build garden and planter walls?
Yes — freestanding and planter walls in block, finished the same way as retaining walls.
