San Juan Capistrano · South Orange County
Masonry and hardscape in San Juan Capistrano.
San Juan Capistrano grew up around Mission San Juan Capistrano, and the town still carries it: adobe-style walls, stucco, clay tile and stone, and the Los Rios district, one of the oldest neighborhoods in California, a short walk from the Mission.
Away from downtown it's a mix of older ranch homes, larger lots and horse property, and hillside neighborhoods. That means work that respects an older or historic look, and walls and drainage for the bigger and sloped yards.
South Orange County is our main service area.
What matters here
What San Juan Capistrano homes ask for.
An older, historic town
Stone, smooth stucco, clay-colored tile and terracotta caps fit here. New work should look like it belongs next to what's already standing — we'll match it and show you in 3D first.
Historic areas may need review
Homes in or near the historic parts of town may need city review before exterior work. We'll check with the City of San Juan Capistrano on your address and build to what's approved.
Bigger lots and slopes
Larger lots and hillside streets mean retaining walls, long walkways and drains that move water across a lot of ground. We plan them together so the levels line up.

Questions
San Juan Capistrano questions, straight answers.
- My house is older. Can new work match it?
- Usually, yes. Stucco finishes, stone and tile caps can often be matched closely. We'll look at what's there at the walkthrough, and if a perfect match isn't possible we'll tell you before we start.
- Do I need city approval in the historic area?
- You may. It depends on where the house is and what we're building. We'll check with the city before work starts so there are no surprises.
- Can you handle a big yard in one project?
- Yes. One conversation, and we handle the rest, from concept to completion — design, walls, patio, fire and water, in one written scope.
