What matters here

What coastal projects ask for.

  • Salt air

Salt and moisture work into porous stone, grout and concrete. We'll talk about sealing, and about materials that hold up near the water.

  • Tight lots

On small coastal lots there's little room for materials and equipment. We plan the job around access before we start.

  • Bluffs and hillsides

Hillside lots need retaining walls with waterproofing and drains, built to the plans.

  • Coastal permits

Some properties near the water fall under extra coastal review. Check with the City of Newport Beach early in the planning.

Questions

Newport Beach questions, straight answers.

Does natural stone hold up near the ocean?
It can, with the right stone and the right sealer. We'll talk it through at the walkthrough and spell it out in the scope.
Can you work on a lot with tight access?
Tell us about access when you call — gate width, side yards, parking. We'll plan the job around it.
